Hacienda Siesta Alegre Wedding | Puerto Rico Wedding Photographer


Sabrina and Marjorie got married in Puerto Rico, which already sounds like a pretty damn good idea.

Then they invited all their favorite people, picked Hacienda Siesta Alegre, got dressed up, drank a lot of drinks, and basically turned the whole place into one giant party.

These two were FUN.

Not “we smiled nicely for the photographer” fun.


I mean throw-yourself-into-the-day, laugh-until-you-cry, dance-like-an-absolute-manIac, what-the-hell-is-happening-over-there kind of fun.

There were beautiful moments, obviously. The kind where everything got quiet for a second and you could see how much these two loved each other. But then somebody would start laughing, somebody else would start dancing, and the whole thing would immediately descend back into chaos.

Perfect.

Hacienda Siesta Alegre gave them the perfect playground for it, too. Tropical greenery, old hacienda buildings, warm Puerto Rican air, and plenty of room for everyone to wander around, drink, celebrate, and generally make questionable decisions.


And Sabrina and Marjorie were right in the middle of it.

That’s what I loved about photographing them. They weren’t trying to have the “perfect wedding.” They were having their wedding.

Their friends were losing their minds. Their family was celebrating. They were kissing, laughing, dancing, crying, and probably sweating their asses off because Puerto Rico does not care about your wedding-day hair.


It was colorful, loud, ridiculous, emotional, and completely full of life.

Basically, exactly the kind of wedding we want to photograph.
