Alyssa + Griffin are both artists, so naturally, their wedding was never going to be filled with things pulled straight from a Pinterest board.

They own a pottery shop, and they made the ceramic pieces for their wedding themselves, including the bases and details throughout the tablescape. Every little piece felt personal because it literally was.


They got married at Bonnet House in Fort Lauderdale, surrounded by their favorite people and tucked into all that ridiculous tropical greenery. The ceremony was intimate and emotional, followed by dinner under the lights, good food, a lot of laughter, and eventually a dance floor that got completely out of hand.


What I loved most was that the wedding actually felt like them. Their art, their people, their weird little details, their way of celebrating.

Nothing cookie-cutter. Nothing just because that’s what you’re “supposed” to do.
