They Got Married at the Palm Beach Courthouse. And Then They Made Magic in West Palm
There’s something about courthouse weddings that feels like a rom-com trying to keep it together on a budget. You’ve got the fluorescent lights, the outdated wall art, the waiting room energy. It’s not glamorous. It’s not curated. But it’s real. And for Jose and Danay, their Palm Beach courthouse elopement was just the beginning.

They didn’t want the Pinterest-perfect production. They wanted to elope — just the two of them, no pressure, no big audience. We started at the Palm Beach County Courthouse in downtown West Palm Beach, where they said their vows in a quiet ceremony that was sweet, simple, and full of heart.

There were no guests. No timeline. No pressure to smile
Danay wore two dresses (because of course she did). One for the vows, and one for what came after: an afternoon of running around some of the most beautiful corners of West Palm Beach. We made a quick stop at the Palm Beach County History Museum (yes, we snuck in a few photos — totally worth it), and then headed to Via Mizner in downtown West Palm for the rest of their portraits. Between the Mediterranean architecture, mosaic tiles, hidden staircases, and lush greenery, it gave us everything from editorial chic to laid-back romance.
Just two humans in love, letting the day unfold exactly the way they wanted — with a little bit of courthouse charm and a whole lot of golden light.

If you’re dreaming about ditching the traditional wedding script and doing something that actually feels like you, I’m here for it. I specialize in documentary-style elopements across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and beyond. Whether you’re getting married in a courthouse, a museum, or wandering the alleys of Via Mizner in a killer second outfit — I’ll be there to tell the story exactly as it unfolds. No posing. No pressure. Just real moments, exactly as they happened
